Thai Food in Alaska

Pho’ Vietnam #2 should be #1 on your list for Vietnamese food. While visiting Anchorage I was an avid patron of Pho’ Vietnam #2. I visited the restaurant 5 times in the course of 2 weeks.

I’m conflicted. I used to Love everything i got here and tonight I didn’t even look at the menu. I just ordered what I used to get. Beef Bop bowl with teriyaki, with 2 dumplings and I gor the chicken katsu in the rice bowl as an extra treat.

The food is amazing. If you know what really really good fried rice is, this is the place to get it. If you know what great Vietnamese food is, this will meet your standards.

This is an awesome place. I will certainly come back. The soup broth was just right, noodles were tasty, and the chicken wasn’t dried out. It was still fall apart juicy.

It’s good, I was surprised to see shrimp in a vegetable spring roll. I don’t eat shrimp but it was my 1st time, I just picked them out. The Pho was good.

Was very underwhelming in terms of Thai food, and more expensive than the usual too. Fried rice was not so tasty, and the protein included did not have any seasoning at all.

Visited from CA. First time visit. At first, I was a bit sketchy with the place hoping food will taste delightful and turned out to be tasteful and delightful.

Restaurant was a little dirty-tables not clean, hair and dirt on chairs. They were definitely understaffed but working hard. The food took 30-45 minutes to come out.

Our service started with a smile from the hostess asking if we were celebrating any special occasions. Our sever asked again which is a nice touch.

We stumble upon this thai family run restaurant while exploring downtown Anchorage. It did not disappoint us. The food is pretty thai authentic and delicious.

First time tonight, killed my pork plate nicely sliced and crisp to it. Wifey loved the sesame gave it a 8/10 pork I’d say 9/10 more rice please lol and it’s a 4 most of your fountain soda were stale sorry.

Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by Thea. She seated me then and brought a menu. This was my first visit and Thea helped me pick out a couple fantastic dishes.

Tried the curry fried rice with chicken for the first time! It was fantastic! My buddy got the spicy fried rice w chicken, we will definitely be back! There are many Thai restaurants around.

First time eating here, the food was so delicious I ate it all. Shared some food with friend. Very pricey food, and definitely want to come back to try their other thai dishes I have ordered several dishes from here and nothing has ever disappointed.

The food was amazing! So fresh and flavorful. We ordered fresh rolls, shrimp roll, pumpkin curry and drunken noodles. Everything was off the charts.

Delicious Thai food at Spenard / Fireweed. It was busy but not packed with a stream of regulars. A first timers to So Thai we got what was recommended by the waitress – Pad Thai and Kuay Tiew Num Kon (a creamy Tom Yum soup).

Great little place, as many things in Anchorage it’s a little pricey, but It’s pretty authentic and they do have great lunch specials. It does have a nice feel with some traditional art.

Food was absolutely amazing and we got our food within about 6 minutes of ordering which was crazy! I got the Beef Pad Krapao which was my first time trying this dish and it was SO DELICIOUS! My friends got the vermicelli noodles and chicken fried rice which were also crazy good.

You have to try this place! We had a big group and I tried a little of everyone’s and it was great. Seasme chicken, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, beef bulgogi, and the chicken fried rice.

Good spot for some Pho. The location is not currently correct on google maps but it is within the general area. The cashier/ server had great customer service and was able to hold himself very well.

Delicious food, the waitress was great, the food was amazing and gi- normous! Didn’t wait long at all. Price was relevant to the proportion of food.

I ordered a shrimp Tom Yum to go and a bottle of water, she charged me 21.99$ which is supposed to be 10.99 for the soup. When I got back to my office and open my food, it was not shrimp but chicken.
